and many more prizes to be won.

It’s worth noting that the 1st prize is worth over £700 – well worth buying some!

Put the names on the first ticket of each book and we’ll do the rest.  There’s a box in the porch where you can put the stubs and money.

Let’s sell as many as we can as the money will go to the parish.

GRAND SUMMER FETE/FUN DAY

We still need stall holders for some of the many we’re planning and we also need some additional helpers for each stall so that no one is left alone!

Just to let you know, all stall holders will have everything they need provided on the day – equipment, prizes, raffle tickets etc – we’re going to make it as easy as possible for everyone!

We need the full list sorted by Friday July 21st so please sign up, so that we can make sure we have everything ready in advance, and again, let’s make this a fun day for everyone and raise even more money for the Parish.

DONATIONS

We need donations too, of baking products for the Cake Stall, Bottles for the Bottle Stall, and stuff for the Hamper Raffle (Beauty, Motor/Driving & Chocolate/sweet) and there is a box in the porch for donations which will be emptied each week and stored in the Presbytery.

OUR PARISH HISTORY

Next weekend we’ll be putting up a photo & memory display in the Church and Porch and will be adding pictures, stories etc.  If anyone has any photographs of Parish Events, Christenings, First Communions, Weddings, etc  write your names on the back of each photo, and we’ll mount them on the display and return them in envelopes after the weekend celebrations.

ST JOSEPH’S GOT TALENT

There’s got to be a wealth of entertaining talent among the youngsters of the Parish, and we’ll be showcasing this at the Fete.  There will be heats on Saturday 15th and Saturday 22nd July from 11:30am to 1:30pm  and from this we’ll pick performers for the competition on the 9th September.  Please sign up in advance of the heats so that we know how many to expect.  Our judges have promised to be sensitive and gentle!

Thanks to everyone who has signed up, bought raffle tickets so far.  And thanks, too, to everyone who has yet to!    Terry Finnegan..
