Caring for our planet lecture

A free lecture at Reaseheath College Nantwich by Reverend Bernard Moss, Emeritus Professor at Staffordshire University, Associate Minister at St Mary’s Parish Church, Nantwich. Coffee Morning

Tuesday 13th November at 10:30am
Come along and join in the fun – Refreshments, Bingo, Raffle and Bring-and Buy Sale. We would love to see more people supporting these events.

Bingo Night

Friday 23rd November. Doors open at 7pm and the bingo starts at 7:30pm.
We would be grateful for donations of Prizes for this event.  And of course your support on the evening itself – always a great evening out. The money raised on the Bingo Night is to pay for essential equipment and electrical works in the Parish Centre.  Tickets are now on sale.

Belgian Beer Night

Friday 7th December 7:30pm to 11:30pm
Tickets available from Phil Martin in advance of the night (07720 807162). Price is £10 for 2 beers (one draught and one bottle) plus food (Belgian Stew). More beers available to purchase on the night. £4 for those who only want the food. Pre-order forms will be made available before the event if you want to order additional beers for the Christmas period.

Pensioner’s Meal

Sunday 9th December – noon onwards
Please add your name(s) to the list in the porch if you would like to attend.  If you have any special needs (dietary, transport to and fro, access arrangements, etc) please let us know. We would also welcome volunteers to assist on the day – and Raffle Prizes please.

Children’s Christmas Party

Sunday 16th December
After 11am Mass. Shared table, games and a special guest. We would like parents to stay around to help with their own children (Coffees and teas will be provided). Should finish about 14:00.

LPA Shrines of France 2019

5th – 13th September 2019
St John Vianney Parish have organised a coach trip to Lisieux, Nevers, Lourdes and Paris. Cost is £660, more details about the coach trip are on the forms in the outer porch.

Church cleaners

We are appealing for volunteers to help with the cleaning of the church on a Thursday morning. Even if you can just spare half an hour that would be a great help to the small team of volunteer cleaners.

Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies (CCRS)

Please see the poster in the porch about this interesting Course which is intended for all who wish to know more about their Catholic Faith.
Although the first Module has taken place, the CCRS may be joined at the start of any module.

Blackpool Trip

Thank you to Pat and Ann for organising the day trip to Blackpool, the day out was enjoyed by everyone who went.

Parish Administrator

We are looking to find a person to take over as Parish Administrator. Derek has been carrying out this role since 2011 and he has decided to retire next month.

If you would like to volunteer to take over will you please speak to Fr Simon.  Or, if you would like to know what it involves, you can contact Derek. Derek is definitely finishing so we need to find a replacement pretty quickly. Please note this role is voluntary.
