Sunday 19th March – Shared Table

After the 11am Mass we will be having a Shared Table to celebrate St Joseph’s Day. Please make a note in your diary and come along and join in the fun.
There is going to be an  Easter Egg Tombola at this Celebration  so could you please bring an Easter Egg to Church over the next few weekends.

Saturday 22nd April – CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY DAY

Children must be 6 or over to attend. Activities include climbing wall, low rope course, cave bus and more.

Cost depends on numbers attending.

Thursday 27th April to Sunday 30th April – LINDISFARNE – PARISH RETREAT

A retreat is being organised at Holy Island. If you are interested in going can you please add your name(s) to the list in the porch. We need around 20-25 people to make it viable. The cost is likely to be in the region of £75-80 per person (excluding transport). If you are interested please can you add your name(s) to the list in the porch as soon as possible.


This year we are being invited to support SPA – The Society of St Peter the Apostle – which exists to support the education of candidates for the Catholic priesthood in the developing world, and to support the formation of men and women candidates for the religious life in the missions. The first collection will take place next weekend.


Copies of the “My Day By Day” and “Walk With Me” booklets are available in the porch. Price £1 each – please place money into the Newspaper Wall Box or simply put it into the Offertory Bag.


We are currently undergoing a review of our safeguarding procedures and policies. Anyone who works in our parish with children and/or vulnerable adults is asked to register with the safeguarding team and complete a DBS application form with our diocese. Please contact Helen Thorpe, who is our safeguarding officer; she will provide you with the application form and guide you through it – as it is rather detailed. If you have any concerns regarding safeguarding please contact Helen on 07966 284 486.
