Dates for your Diary

Sunday 4th March – Community Mass

St Nicholas Catholic High School is joining with the local parishes to celebrate Lent with a community Mass at St Mary’s, Middlewich. For young people of high school age.  Preparation time will begin at 3.00pm with Mass at 5.00pm and refreshments to follow. See the poster in the porch.

Sunday 18th March – Family Fun Day

Family Fun Day in the Parish Centre after 11:00am Mass. There will be a Shared Table and an Easter Egg Tombola. We are collecting Easter Eggs now so if you would like to donate one please leave it in the Box in the Sacristy. Thank You.

Friday 13th April 7:30pm – Bingo Night

In aid of Doctor Fallon’s chosen Charities – Autism Group and Carer’s Association.
We would be delighted to receive any donations and prizes for the bingo night. Please leave them in the sacristy marked “Bingo”.


Coffee morning

Our Coffee Morning on Tuesday raised the sum of £155.  Thanks to those who organised it and those who came to support it. The next Coffee Morning is on March 20th.

Heating & Lighting

Next weekend – and the weekend after – we are appealing to you to help us with our Gas & Electricity Bills. This winter has been particularly cold and our usage has been particularly high. So on these weekends we will be having a Retiring Collection.

Readers

We would like to recruit more Readers for the 9:30am Sunday morning Mass. If you are interested in becoming a Reader please speak to Fr. Simon.

Fr Stephen

It is with great sadness that we have to tell you that Fr Stephen died on Wednesday after a long illness. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.
