Bingo Night

Friday 23rd November at 7:30pm (doors open at 7pm).
As usual we would be grateful for donations of Prizes for this event.  And of course your support on the evening itself – always a great evening out.

Christ the King Sunday

Sunday 25th November Mass – 5.30pm
Celebrate this day with St Nicholas Catholic High School and the parish communities at St Wilfrid’s RC Church, Northwich
Young people – Year 7 and above – come and help prepare from 4.00pm (parental consent form must be completed). Refreshments afterwards in the parish centre.

Belgian Beer Night

Friday 7th December 7:30pm to 11:30pm.
Tickets available from Phil Martin in advance of the night (07720 807162). Price is £10 for 2 beers (one draught and one bottle) plus food (Belgian Stew). More beers available to purchase on the night. £4 for those who only want the food. Pre-order forms will be made available before the event if you want to order additional beers for the Christmas period.

Pensioner’s Meal

9th December – noon onwards
Please add your name(s) to the list in the porch if you would like to attend.  If you have any special needs (dietary, transport to and fro, access arrangements, etc) please let us know. We would also welcome volunteers to assist on the day – and Raffle Prizes please.

Parish Christmas Afternoon

Monday 10th December – 1.30 to 3.30pm
We would like to invite members of the parish to join us for an Afternoon Tea Christmas Celebration here at St Nicholas Catholic High School. The afternoon will include refreshments and entertainment. We may be able to provide some transport if needed. In the first instance we can offer twelve spaces per parish.. Please let Fr Simon know if you wish to attend so that they have an idea of the numbers. Tickets and further details shortly.

Parish Trip to York

Friday 14th December
We are planning a Coach Trip to York.  A magical experience – visit  the Christmas Markets, York Minster, the Shambles, Margaret Clitherow’s House, The Railway Museum – and much more. See York in all its glory. Please sign up on the clipboard in the porch ASAP. Price is £20 per person. Well worth a visit if you haven’t been – or even if you have been before.

Children’s Christmas Party

Sunday 16th December after 11am Mass.
Shared table, games and a special guest. We would like parents to stay around to help with their own children (Coffees and teas will be provided). Should finish about 14:00.

St. John Vianney Trip

7th to 10th May 2019
A visit to Douai Abbey has been arranged by Fr Paul and is available to local parishes. Cost: £190.00 which includes trips to Oxford and Winchester. More details to follow.


Coffee Morning

Congratulations to our team for another successful Coffee morning which raised the sum of £169. Our grateful thanks go to those who organised it and to those who came along and supported it.
Our next Coffee morning won’t be until January.

Scripture Group

We have halted the Scripture study meetings for the winter and hope to begin again in the new year.  Thank you to everyone who has supported the Scripture meetings over the years. It may be that parishioners would prefer to  have some workshops/meetings on other elements of the faith and, if this is the case, please speak to Fr Simon so that we can look into providing this.
