Alcoholics Anonymous Open Meeting
Wednesday 5th June
In The Social Centre at St. Josephs RC church to learn more about the illness which is affecting so many people, their families, and loved ones today. Doors open at 7:30pm when tea, coffee, and biscuits will be served before the meeting starts at 8:00pm. Please see the poster in the porch for more information.
Coffee morning
Tuesday June 11th at 10:30am
Our Coffee Morning on Tuesday raised the sum of £147. Thanks to everyone who organised the coffee morning and to those who came to support it.
Everyone is welcome to come along for coffee and cake.
Blackpool Trip
Saturday 26th October
£10 per person. Please put your name on the form in the porch if you want to attend. A deposit of £5 is required, booking early is essential as many were disappointed last year. We will leave St Joseph’s at 10am and travel home through the lights.
Key Holders
Several times recently it has been found that the porch doors have not been properly locked (on one occasion the outer porch door was left ajar) – and/or that the Alarm hasn’t been set.
Would all key holders please ensure that both doors in the “old” porch and the “new” porch have been locked – and the alarm is activated. Thank you for your co-operation.
Food Bank
In the past week the mid Cheshire foodbank fed 99 people, including 41 children. Thank you to everybody who donates food and to the Food Bank volunteers.
To help more people the Food Bank urgently need the following – Tinned fish (ZERO STOCK), Rice pudding, Small & medium boxes of cereal.
Large or small, all food donations are gratefully received.
