After the 11am Mass we will be having a Shared Table to celebrate St Joseph’s Day. Please make a note in your diary and come along and join in the fun.

Saturday 22nd April – CHILDREN’S ACTIVITY DAY

FOREST CAMP ACTIVITY CENTRE, SANDIWAY.
Children must be 6 or over to attend. Activities include climbing wall, low rope course, cave bus and more.

Cost depends on numbers attending.

Friday 28th April to Sunday 30th April – LINDISFARNE – PARISH RETREAT

A retreat is being organised at Holy Island. If you are interested in going can you please add your name(s) to the list in the porch. The cost is likely to be in the region of £75-80 per person (excluding transport). More details available in due course. Numbers are limited, so please add your name(s) ASAP.

This weekend we will be welcoming one of the sisters of the MISSIONARY SISTERS OF ST PETER CLAVER who will tell us about the work of her Order.

Safeguarding

We are currently undergoing a review of our safeguarding procedures and policies. Anyone who works in our parish with children and/or vulnerable adults is asked to register with the safeguarding team and complete a DBS application form with our diocese. Please contact Helen Thorpe who will provide you with the application form and guide you through it as it is rather detailed.
