Sunday 10th December 12:00 – Pensioner’s Meal
Please add your name(s) to the list on the porch if you would like to attend. If you have any special needs (dietary, transport to and fro, access arrangements, etc) please let us know. We would also welcome volunteers to assist on the day – and Raffle Prizes please.
Friday 15th December – BEER NIGHT
Price is £10 for 2 beers and hot food. £4 for food only. There will be pre-order forms for those who wish to purchase additional beers for Christmas. Price list and choices to follow soon. Please add your name and contact information on the list in the foyer.
Sunday 17th December 12:00 – CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY
After 11am Mass. Shared table, games and a special guest. We would like parents to stay around to help with their own children (Coffees and teas will be provided). Should finish about 14:00.
Friday the 12th January 7pm – PARISH HELPERS’ PARTY
Are you involved in the Parish work – for example:- as a Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Offertory Counter, Cleaner, Flower arranger, Parish Council member, Gardener, Food Bank helper, Sacristan, Catechist, Musician and/or Choir member, Parish maintenance, Children’s Liturgy, Parish Council member, etc.,etc.
You are cordially invited to a Party on the 12th January.
If you are able to attend please can you add your name(s) to the list in the porch as soon as possible so that we can plan for catering.
OUR ADVENT CHARITY
As you know, Fr Simon spends his annual holiday in a parish in Arizona. In the White Mountains there is an Apache Indian Reservation whose people live in great poverty. So for our Advent Charity we will be having two collections – next weekend and on the 17th December. The money raised will be sent to help these Apache people.
CHRISTMAS FLOWERS
We would welcome donations for flowers to decorate the church at Christmas. Please place your donations into the Box in the porch.
COFFEE MORNING
Our last coffee morning raised £147.50. Thanks to those who organised it and to those who came and supported them.
