Covid-19 Testing centre

We are looking for volunteers to marshal our C19 assessment centre at Dene Drive Primary Care Centre from next week. John Malam, chair of the friends if Winsford Town Park has kindly agreed to organise the rota and his contact details can be found on the Friends of Winsford Town Park Facebook page, Winsford Guardian online, or tel 01696-863540 07941-847937
We are very encouraged by all the community support and from Winsford Town Council, St John Ambulance, Friends of Winsford Town Park, and Simply Signs who have done signage at 24 hr turnaround
The C19 assessment centre is for All Winsford patients. The 5 general practices have been working really well together to prepare. The local peak is not now expected until end of April or early May. All the patients have been so understanding and we have been able to do most of our work over the phone which means much less patient contact and less risk, so very conscious of all the healthcare teams who have much more direct contact and associated risk, particular in ICU.

Fr Colin Wilson granddaughter

We’ve heard from Fr Colin Wilson that his granddaughter died this week. She was only 14 or 15. She has been fighting Leukemia for the last couple of years.
