Are you involved in the Parish work – for example:- as a Reader, Eucharistic Minister, Offertory Counter, Cleaner, Flower arranger, Parish Council member, Gardener, Food Bank helper, Sacristan, Catechist, Musician and/or Choir member,  Parish maintenance, Children’s Liturgy,  etc.,etc.

You are cordially invited to a Party on the 12th January.

If you are able to attend please can you add your name(s) to the list in the porch as soon as possible so that we can plan for catering.

Tuesday 23rd January – COFFEE MORNING

Our next Coffee Morning will be held on . There will be tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits, Bingo and a Bring and Buy Sale.

BINGO NIGHT

Grateful thanks to those who organised our latest Bingo Night – and to those who came along and supported it.
A total of over £700 was raised. Some of this money will go towards the cost of the Pensioners Christmas Dinner and the Childrens’ Christmas Party.
Three Prizes have yet to be claimed – 151-155   521 – 525 and 76 – 80. Please see Fr Simon on Saturday or Sunday morning.

OUR ADVENT CHARITY

As you know, Fr Simon spends his annual holiday in a parish in Arizona. In the White Mountains there is an Apache Indian Reservation whose people live in great poverty. So for our Advent Charity we will be having the second of two collections this weekend. The money raised will be sent to help these Apache people.
